Salamanca

Salamanca is one of the best cities in the world to learn Spanish, people here speak the “purest” Spanish in Spain and they have one of the oldest universities in Europe. The city is full of students with a great variety of nationalities, but you could also find that is so easy to make friends there. People are very friendly and you could go almost everywhere .  Salamanca is a World Heritage Site,  declared by UNESCO and in 2002 it was also declared European Capital of Culture. Its amazing places such as La Plaza Mayor, The Roman Bridge, The Cathedral etc will make you love this city.  

From Salamanca is easy to make a trip to some historic and beautiful cities in Spain. You could enjoy the cosmopolita Madrid which is just 2 hours by car, visit the Town Walls of Avila which is only 45 minutes from Salamanca, you could find the capital of Castilla: Valladolid in 1 hour driving and make a tour in the World Heritage Route of Segovia driving for only 2 hours. 

THE SCHOOL 

The school is located in a beautiful converted convent, indoors has all the modernized facilities and outside you will find 5420 square meters with a lovely central courtyard. 

There are many things to do in Salamanca. As the most part of the population is really young, there is no problem in finding something exciting to do everyday. They have to study hard but they will also find time to enjoy the vibrant nightlife going to some of the best tapas and bars in the city, playing soccer and basketball games, etc.

ACCOMMODATION 

Host Family 

Host families are carefully selected in Salamanca . Living in a host family gives you the opportunity to continue practicing Spanish at home , plus the experience to know the customs of Spanish families. Some of our families are young and we also have some retired people, all of them will try to make you feel as another member of the family.  

If you have any allergies, special dietary requirements, dislike of particular pets or any other special request, just let us know in advance and we'll try our best to satisfy your needs. 

Deposit fee is 150€ for the keys. 

Student Apartment 

Living in a student apartments is a perfect way to make new friends, the apartments are completely equipped, all of them has kitchen with microwave, pans, cutlery etc. 

There are different size of apartments depending on your preferences: single, double or triple room. 

The location is very close to the school, you can walk or use public transport to arrive there. Deposit fee is 150€ for the keys. 

University Campus Residence 

In this residence, basically are living Spanish students, so it is easier to find a placement during the summer holidays. You may choose between a single or double room and a bed & breakfast, half board (breakfast and dinner) or full board (breakfast, lunch and dinner). Access to a private bathroom may be possible. Deposit fee is 150€ for the keys.
