Heidelberg

The city of Heidelberg is one of the most beautiful cities in Germany. It is a relatively small town but has a great historical and natural beauty. The city has the romanticism print everywhere, streets and buildings will not leave anyone indifferent. It is a very lively place with great influx of tourism and young people, here come to study thousands of students every year, it has the oldest university in Germany and one of the most prestigious in the country.

There are many things to see in Heidelberg: walk around the castle, visit the Church of the Holly Spirit, Brükentor and the Old Bridge, take a walk along the Path of the Philosophers, Kornmarkt, and of course the University.

THE SCHOOL

Our German language school in Heidelberg is located in Darmstädter Hof Centrum mall, here are numerous shops, cafes, restaurants, banks etc.

It is a school with more than 30 fully equipped and well-lit classrooms, 6 offices, two kitchens, a dining room and a terrace. This school is perfectly suited to students with mobility problems. All teachers are native speakers and highly qualified.

The school environment is international, it has students from more than a hundred different nationalities.

The school has a great reputation being accredited by: CERTQUA. CSN. FADAF, VDP and TUV.

Every week the school organizes several cultural and leisure activities.  You'll be able to sign up whatever you want, some activities require a fee.

This German course focuses on the preparation of official exams TestDaF and DSH that have international recognition.

ACCOMMODATION

RESIDENCE

• Residence I: The residence is 500 meters from the school. It offers single rooms with shared bathrooms. There is a kitchen on each floor.
• Residence II: is located just 2 minutes walking from the school. Double or single room are available. Each room has private bath and kitchen.
• Residence III: is just 2 minutes walking from the school. We offer double or single rooms with private bathroom and a small kitchen. Double rooms have bunk beds.
• Residence IV is in the old part of the city, 600 meters from the school and only 6 minutes walking, it offers single or double rooms. Bathrooms and kitchens are shared. Students are responsible for cleaning their quarters.

If you arrive to Heidelberg later than midnight you will have to book a hostel. You can come back to the residence on Monday morning.

All residences require a deposit of €100. The entrance is on Sunday from 10:00 to 24:00 and departure on Saturday before 12:00.

 HOST FAMILY

Living with a family gives the student the opportunity to continue practicing German at home while experiencing a new culture. Families will make the student feels like a member of the family, the student will be independent but will have to adapt to the home rules. All families are carefully selected. There are only-one-member families, families of parents and children, families of mother and child or single partner. In all cases, we will make every effort to find a family that suits their demands in interest. Families are near the school, some are a few minutes walking and others need to go by public transport. The day is Saturday and departure on Sunday. Deposit €100.
